Tell me a little about your background.

I worked in multiple facets of healthcare. EMS, trauma centers, education, etc. I also sold cars for BMW

Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?

I knew that this was the job that I wanted years ago. I am passionate about healthcare, passionate about selling, passionate about communication, passionate about relationships, etc. This field combined them all.

How did you learn about Medical Sales College?

A friend of mine went there and got a job quickly; so I flew out and checked it out.

What ultimately made you decide to attend?

Meeting the staff, seeing the facilities, and getting some testimonials from students who were successful.

Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.

The classes were not easy, but they were manageable. The instructors were helpful and very knowledgeable. They gave a very accurate portrayal of what to expect upon graduation.

What is the most valuable piece of information that you learned while attending MSC which ultimately helped you land your position?

The vitality of being proactive and the LinkedIn training are what got me the job.

Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?

Without it, the likelihood of breaking into this industry is lessened immensely. Look at it as an investment in your future. If you're a numbers person, compare the hiring statistics with the average pay of a medical device rep. It's well worth the initial cost.

How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?

2-3 years. I had little success and the success I did have was due to networking

Did you have any fears about attending the School? What were they?

Honestly, I was very skeptical at first. It's not a cheap training program by any means. My major fear was that I would not be able to get a job upon graduation.

Explain what your interview process was like.

I interviewed with 5-6 companies; and they were all very different in their interview processes. The company who was most professional, with the most professional executives, staff, sales people, etc. is the company I now work for.

What is your current job like?

Phenomenal. I work with a fantastic group of sales reps, sales managers, etc. They invest in their employees. The products are incredible. The surgeons are great. Truly my dream job.

What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?

I wish I would have attended earlier instead of wasting time trying to break into the industry myself.

What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?

The confidence that I gained from the classes, the products I learned, and the presentations that I gave.
