Tell me a little about your background.

Have been working in sales for the last 3 years and wanted to advance my skills in the medical field.

Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?

I was having a difficult time breaking into the industry. Wanted to attend MSC to help build a foundation of knowledge and be better equipped during the interview process.

How did you learn about Medical Sales College?

Job boards and reaching out to previous MSC graduates.

What ultimately made you decide to attend?

Speaking with previous graduates and hearing their personal experiences. Also researching the graduates and seeing that many of them are now employed with well-known orthopedic companies.

Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.

What is the most valuable piece of information that you learned while attending MSC which ultimately helped you land your position?

Product sales presentation and showing how each product differs from one another.

Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?

If you are serious about breaking into the orthopedic community, then MSC will help you achieve that goal. Having MSC on your resume will set you apart from the rest of the competition.

How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?

6 months.

Did you have any fears about attending the School? What were they?

Yes! I was nervous about having to quit my job and not knowing when the next job would start.

Explain what your interview process was like.

From start to finish the interview process lasted for about 6 weeks. First round interview was with the sales manager, second round was with one of the senior sales rep. Third round was meeting the rest of the sales team/ride along and after that I was offered the job!

What is your current job like?

I am a sales rep, currently in training.

What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?

Wish I had known about MSC sooner.

What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?

Knowledge of products, and OR protocol.
