Tell me a little about your background.

I was a prior Certified Surgical Tech in the military and had worked with sales reps in the past and I asked what it took to be a rep. At that time, I furthered my education and researched medical sales training online. I found MSC and looked into how to become a student of MSC .

Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?

I was interested in medical sales because as a tech I felt that I could do that job because I had a clinical acumen already.

How did you learn about Medical Sales College?

Online research.

What ultimately made you decide to attend?

Placement services after completion of the program.

Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.

My experiences were as expected. Student life all over again .

What is the most valuable piece of information that you learned while attending MSC which ultimately helped you land your position?

The MDRepTrack software, product presentation, Feature/Benefits/Value of a product, short and long call training.

Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?

To learn how to learn about products and their selling points.

How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?

Over a few years I had some interviews that did not work out due to various inexperiences.

Did you have any fears about attending the School? What were they?

No fear, I wanted to pursue my education and do what it took to learn everything I could.

Explain what your interview process was like.

The interviews were by phone at first then meet greet then a secondary interview in an office setting. But all wanted to know what SALES background I had. Mine was limited.

What is your current job like?

As a trainee, I?m learning products and Doctors in the territory.

What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?

Product knowledge and territory development.

What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?

Product knowledge, feature benefit and value.
