Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?

My father has been in the industry for over 20 years, so it has always interested me. After working in Agriculture for 2 years after college, I decided it was time to pursue my dream of a career in Medical Devices.

How did you learn about Medical Sales College?

I actually saw it on MedReps.com and then reached out to a few mutual friends that had attended to learn more about the program before taking the plunge.

What ultimately made you decide to attend?

After realizing I wasn?t getting much traction in interviews, I knew the school would give me the tools I needed to land my dream job.

What is the most valuable piece of information that you learned while attending MSC which ultimately helped you land your position?

I was able to speak the language and answer anatomical and procedural questions with confidence, which ultimately helped me land a job with Mazor Robotics.

Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?

If you know you want to make a career change, then you should attend MSC. It gives you the knowledge, skills and confidence to interview and launch a career in Medical Devices.

How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?

I spent about a year just talking to different people in the industry and had a few interviews along the way, but never ended up getting a position. It was a long process, but I decided Medical Sales College would give me the edge I needed to break in.

Did you have any fears about attending the School? What were they?

I absolutely had fears of leaving my career in Agriculture to make the investment and go back to the school. I would not have received the offers I did without attending Medical Sales College. It is a risk I would 100% take again, given the opportunity.

Explain what your interview process was like.

The interview process started as soon as I finished the program and took just shy of 2 months to receive offers from 3 different companies, all within one week. I would not have been nearly as prepared for the interviews had I not attended MSC.

What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?

There is so much about this industry that I thought I knew, and I was so wrong. The courses offer great information about the industry from seasoned professionals and I just wish I had taken the plunge earlier.
