Tell me a little about your background.
I worked in the automotive industry for about 7 years working intense hours and wanted to follow my passion for everything medical.
Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?
My wife and I found MSC after my friend Josh who is a cerebro-vascular neurosurgeon suggested I look into medical device sales due to my skill sets and passion for medicine.
How did you learn about Medical Sales College?
My wife found the program
What ultimately made you decide to attend?
I was in an industry that over time is brutal and I wasn?t feeling challenged or satisfied by my daily work.
Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.
MSC was not only one of the best programs I have been a part of but I met lifelong friends and had a blast while I was in St. Petersburg/Tampa area.
What is the most valuable piece of information that you learned while attending MSC which ultimately helped you land your position?
The confidence was great and being prepared was even better. Once I went through a few interviews I felt at ease and starting interviewing well.
Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?
How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?
I was fortunate enough to go straight into MSC before looking. It took about 7-8 months for me to get hired after.
Did you have any fears about attending the School? What were they?
My only fears were financial as I quit my job and took a large risk to go to MSC. In the end it was well worth the risk
Explain what your interview process was like.
It?s been long and challenging but that was due to only wanting to move to certain areas. When I found the right match it all fell into place and was worth being patient.
What is your current job like?
I start next Monday so I?m sure it will be incredible.
What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?
I would have loved to have gotten into the industry much sooner.
What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?
Probably the confidence and knowledge of the job and anatomy.
