Student Testimonials

Tell me a little about your background.
I grew up in small town Gravette, AR and attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Public Health.
Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?
I have always wanted to work in the healthcare industry and became very interested in business/sales after taking a few courses in college. I knew if I could get into medical sales, I would get the best of both worlds.
How did you learn about Medical Sales College?
I was job searching and came upon one of the college?s postings.
What ultimately made you decide to attend?
After talking to alumni of the college and doing a ton of research, I knew this would be the one thing that would help get me noticed and jumpstart my career.
Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.
The course was great, loved it from day one. Our professor, DC, made each day enjoyable, and with his years of experience, he was able to correctly prepare us for what we were getting into.
What is the most valuable piece of information that you learned while attending MSC which ultimately helped you land your position?
Learning how to present myself during the interview process. How to reach out to managers, follow-up, etc.
Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?
How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?
For about 3 months.
Explain what your interview process was like.
I had a phone conversation with the manager and his rep in the territory, I then made the 8 hour drive down for a face to face, I then presented a product the following week, and had the offer two days later.
What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?
Before attending, I thought I knew the bulk of what happens in this industry, and I was wrong. MSC gives you all of the information and assistance that they can to get you started. I wish I had only known about it sooner!
