Student Testimonials
Tell me a little about your background.
I graduated in May 2018, receiving my bachelors of science in biology. Prior to being a biology major, I was an aerospace engineering major. During my time as an engineering major, I developed pure interest in understanding how things work and why they work the way they do. As I transitioned to a biology major, I was fascinated by the evolution of technology and its impact in the medical field to improve the quality of life for patients.
Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?
I was interested in medical sales because new devices are continuously coming out. I found it to be exciting to be able to get my hands on devices and understand how they work. I also liked the idea of being able to communicate with health care professionals in such a way to improve the lives of their patients.

Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?
How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?
I spent about 2 months attempting to get into the industry. I was continuously told that although I have the educational background, I lacked the sales experience. Repeatedly, I was told that I needed business to business sales experience to make me look like a candidate in the device field. It was a tough experience going beyond a phone interview without MSC.
Did you have any fears about attending the School? What were they?
Yes, I did. I never heard about a school for medical device sales and it was a huge financial investment.
Explain what your interview process was like.
For the position I accepted, I had three interviews. The first interview was over the phone where he explained the job role and what he is looking for in a candidate. The second interview was an in-person interview where he basically dissected my resume and truly got to know me as an individual. Final round was a one-week work interview which entailed shadowing him in the operating room.
What is your current job like?
Fast paced! I am learning about the iTotal knee while shadowing my manager in the OR. I will be attending a one-week training program in Boston soon.
