Student Testimonials
Tell me a little about your background.
I am a former athlete who always knew that I wanted a career that would be competitive but would also give me a chance to make a difference in someone?s life.
Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?
I was interested in medical sales because of the competitive team environment, the evolving technology, and at the center of it all, patient care.
How did you learn about Medical Sales College?
I learned about Medical Sales College from a peer of mine during college.
What ultimately made you decide to attend?
When I decided I want to pursue this career, I realized I knew very little about the industry and what it was all about. I decided to attend MSC to set myself apart from others who were going after the same careers but also knew that MSC would benefit me greatly from a knowledge standpoint.
Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.
While it was difficult, the knowledge I gained during the 8 week period was insurmountable. From sales, to specific technologies, to OR protocol I gained insight into everything there is in the medical device industry.
Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?
How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?
I attended MSC before I applied to any jobs due to people telling me I would not get in the industry without experience.
Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.
What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?
The idea of creating a relationship with someone before trying to sell something. I learned that there needs to be a base relationship before you can do anything. That means winning over the scrub techs, making sure the Dr. knows your name etc. It was little things/ tips from instructors with experience that benefited me the most.
