Tell me a little about your background.

Cheerleading competitively 19 years, worked in the service industry in high school/college, college degree in health sciences (community and education).

Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?

The ever-changing lifestyle in a lucrative industry, physically being in the OR and being an asset to surgery, it is also a career based around helping people.

How did you learn about Medical Sales College?

Online?the internship popped up when in search for careers.

What ultimately made you decide to attend?

Failures in an interview and the realization I knew nothing about the industry.

Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.

Accelerated program that gives you knowledge about the industry and products that are available. Really gave me the tools to bust into the industry. Tilden was a wonderful teacher that clearly loved his career and was enthusiastic about sharing it.

Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?

If you don?t know about the industry yet and really want to get in it, you will not receive the same information unless you are already in the field.

How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?

Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.

A lot of ?are you sure this is what you want to do?. With distributors it was typically casual dressed business professional. With bigger companies it was a little more intimidating. Being told I?m a liability so why am I an asset.

What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?

How much employers try to talk you out of a position during the interview process when you don?t have any experience.

What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?

Product information, the anatomy and BE NICE TO SPD (this one helped me specifically with this job).
