Student Testimonials
Tell me a little about your background.
Worked multiple jobs throughout college and graduated in May of 2018 with a degree in Business Marketing. Right before graduating I got a marketing internship with a company called cosmeticare. From there I decided to further my education and go to the medical sales college.
Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?
I have always had a passion for the medical field but never really saw myself being a doctor or nurse. Ended up going to college and obtaining a degree in business marketing. After graduating I was thinking about what I wanted to do, so I put together the two things I was interested in and came up with medical sales.
How did you learn about Medical Sales College?
Previously talking with my father about wanting to get into medical device sales, he later saw a posting on LinkedIn and shared it with me.
What ultimately made you decide to attend?
Not having any experience within the field, I was wanting to get into, I decided it wouldn?t hurt to get a good foundation and learn a little more about it. After much research there wasn?t anything else like it.
Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.
Very straight to the point and demanding. There is so much to learn, even after the 8-week program.
Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?
How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?
I never tried to get into the industry. The qualifications seemed to be too much for someone like me who just graduated college.
Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.
What is your current job like?
Currently I am just getting all of my credentialing done for the hospitals. Soon I will be starting the DJO corporate training that is online and learning more about what the products are and how they are used.
What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?
Had a good understanding before. Due to having friends in the industry.
What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?
Just knowing what the employers are looking for when hiring and also what the industry is like.
