Tell me a little about your background.

I was a firefighter for five years, I enjoyed the healthcare side so I decided to go to nursing school and received my BSN. I have some sales experience in car and pharmaceutical sales.

Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?

During a nursing clinical I had the option to go into the operating room. At that time I watched multiple surgeries and met a rep that walked me through what he did day to day.

How did you learn about Medical Sales College?

I came across it while reading about how to break into this industry.

What ultimately made you decide to attend?

I tried getting into this industry without any success.

Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.

My teachers went above and beyond to make sure that we understood procedures, techniques, products and that we could perform research in order to continue our education.

Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?

It gives you a solid foundation to enter a cut throat environment rather than having to learn from your mistakes and MSC will help in your job search.

How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?

Six months.

Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.

I had a couple of phone interviews, met with the territory manager then met with the territory manager, vice president, and regional manager. I described my background and how I?d be an asset to the team, went through my business plan and addressed their concerns.

What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?

That MSC truly does help bridge the gap into medical sales and the connections that MSC has.

What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?

Chute sales tactics. Don?t feature dump.
