Student Testimonials

Tell me a little about your background.
I am a former professional volleyball athlete that was trying to find the next career in my life that offered a similar ?always on the move? feel to it and it was recommended by a former MSC graduate that I look into Medical Device Sales.
Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?
I had no idea what it was and what it entailed but after learning a little more about it from a friend, the compensation and the focus on relationships with surgeons is what stuck out to me the most.
How did you learn about Medical Sales College?
I have a friend that highly recommended the program and that it was a great way for me to get my foot in the door for the medical device industry.
What ultimately made you decide to attend?
I had applied to a few positions online and never heard back from any employers due to my lack of experience. After seeing the job placement rate, I decided that it would be worth the investment.
Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.
I was lucky enough to have instructors that genuinely loved what they did and that made learning all the intricacies that much easier. Was it a lot of work? Yes. Were some weeks tougher than others? Absolutely. However, in the end I felt that I was totally prepared to sell myself in any interview and speak with confidence about some of the technology that each company was offering.
Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?
How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?
I spent roughly 3 months sending in resumes before I ultimately applied to the college.
Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.
What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?
I wish I knew how marketable MSC made me before I waited so long to make the jump. Had I known that, I most likely would have applied months sooner.
What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?
For me, my interviewers were most impressed with how well prepared I was for each interview, and during the sales week at the end of training was where I learned how to show up and set myself apart from other candidates when I opened up my binder containing product profiles and a sales plan.
