Tell me a little about your background.
I graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in sports and exercise science, I have always been an athlete and very social and competitive. I thought I wanted to be a PT until I began to shadow PT?s and realized it was too slow paced for me. That is when I was unsure of my career path and began searching for what would be a good fit for me.
Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?
I was unsure of my career path but was always told to go into sales which never interested me until I heard about the day in the life of a rep. which drew in my attention because I wanted to do something in the medical field without being a doctor. So, when you combine my people skills with my interested in the medical field it?s a perfect combination.
How did you learn about Medical Sales College?
I asked a friend for advice on how to get into the medical device sales industry without previous experience and he suggested MSC.
What ultimately made you decide to attend?
I wanted to be for sure that medical device sales were what I was passion about.
Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.
Training was very hands on and kinetic learning which benefited my learning style.

What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?
How difficult is it to enter the industry so I could have planned and adjusted my expectations according to the timeline.
What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?
The small details of the day in the life of a medical sales rep. so when being interviewed it came across that even though I lacked experience I understood the responsibilities and exactly what I would be doing daily, down to how SPD worked. It made me able to be more relatable to the interviewer which is a skill you want to portray since a valuable skill in this industry is relationship building.
