Tell me a little about your background.

I was a National Team athlete for The United States Canoe/Kayak Team for 8 years. My passion for athletics and healthcare lead me to attain a B.S. in Applied Health Science, a B.A. in Athletic Training, and a minor in Business Administration.

Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?

I was interested in a career that incorporated both healthcare and business. I also, wanted to be apart of a profession that helped improved patients lives.

How did you learn about Medical Sales College?

Online.

What ultimately made you decide to attend?

The ability to gain experience and make myself a more desirable applicant.

Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.

The training at MSC incorporates both coursework and hands on training. The coursework includes in-depth training from anatomy and pathology to sales training and understanding the major procedures in the industry.

Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?

It is a great way to gain experience and make yourself a more qualified candidate.

How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?

I didn?t try getting into the industry before attending MSC, as I knew it would be hard applying with little to no medical sales experience.

Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.

I had an interview with the area manager who then had me interview with the sales representative I would be working under, another area manager who they work closely with, and lastly with the Vice President of Sales for the West Coast.

What is your current job like?

I currently prepare sets needed for surgeries, cover cases, and attend cadaver labs, surgeon dinners.

What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?

The most valuable piece of information that I learned from MSC was how to translate and articulate everything I learned from MSC to hiring managers.
