Student Testimonials

Tell me a little about your background.
I graduated from Gardner-Webb University with a Bachelor?s Degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. I was looking to start a career in medicine where I could always continue learning, but make connections with others as well.
Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?
I was interested in medical sales because of the fast-paced, day-to-day schedules. I have always had a passion for medicine and helping others, so finding this career industry just combined everything that I loved with my personality traits perfectly.
How did you learn about Medical Sales College?
Medical Sales College was recommended to me by a family friend who is in the medical sales industry. He said that it was highly reputable and a great way to learn more about the field and get prepared.
What ultimately made you decide to attend?
Reading testimonies from MSC graduates and seeing the placement posts in social media ultimately made my decision to attend MSC very easy! I knew I wanted to be a part of a program that was so successful.
Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.
My training at MSC was wonderful. It was online so I could study and work from the comfort of my own home with flexibility of my schedule. My instructors were the best and I learned so much from them!
Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?
How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?
I was a new college graduate before attending MSC. I have heard of stories where people try for years to break into the industry. I was fortunate enough to land a dream career job within months of graduation!
Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.
What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?
I wish I had known the level of difficulty this industry has. As an entry level, I will be on-call and working 10-15 hour shifts 5 days a week. It?s very hard, but it is most definitely worth it!
What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?
The most valuable piece of information that I learned was how to sell to a surgeon. Building a relationship first and then finding out what they like/dislike about a product they are using. Then, using that to my advantage to make a sale. My mock sales pitch in my interviews really blew my employers away!
