Tell me a little about your background.

Biology major, bartender.

Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?

I love science and I originally wanted to go to medical school but I did not want the financial burden associated with the cost of schooling. I have always had a great ability to communicate well with others and I am an extremely hard worker. Medical sales allows me to enjoy my love for science, while also putting my other skills to work as well.

How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?

Less than 6 months.

Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.

I first had a phone interview with a recruiter, then a phone interview with my RSD, then three other phone interviews with different managers in my territory, phone interview with VP of sales, and an in-person interview with my RSD. A total of 7 interviews!

What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?

LinkedIn! LinkedIn! LinkedIn! I cannot stress enough how important it is to network. Don?t be afraid to InMail and do not get discouraged if you don?t get a response.
