Tell me a little about your background.

Studied Biology and Kinesiology at William Paterson University.

Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?

I had been getting offered multiple sales jobs, but wasn't interested. So I looked into sales in the medical field, and came across MSC.

How did you learn about Medical Sales College?

Google.

What ultimately made you decide to attend?

I did my research and reached out to people who have attended and graduated and they recommended I apply.

Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.

The 8 week course online was a little difficult because we met 2 times a week for just a few hours. I had to do a lot of research outside of the classroom which was fine, but I really enjoyed the hands on experience and working with my classmates and teachers in person.

Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?

I had no sales experience with zero confidence in applying to jobs as a medical sales rep until I attended MSC. I learned about the daily routines of a sales rep and got a clear understanding of what my life would be like in the medical sales industry. The school's advisors guided me well after I graduated and helped me land a job in the field.

How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?

I didn't try prior to attending MSC

Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.

I received a phone call from a job scout. Set up an interview with two hiring managers. From there, they set up an in-person interview with a national business development manager. She set me up with an interview with the CEO of the company. Later that day the hiring managers notified me that the CEO liked me, and they offered me a job.

What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?

I wish I had gotten into the industry sooner.

What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?

The interview training. The technical aspect of where and how to apply for jobs. The interview training with Scott Binder was so detailed from how to dress, posture, possible questions, etc. I really learned a lot within those 6 hours that I will use for the rest of my professional life.
