Student Testimonials

Tell me a little about your background.
I went to Southwestern Oklahoma State University with a plan to pursue Physical Therapy. I got a rare heart condition and decided that life is just too short not to be going and getting the most out of life that you can, still wanting to be in a medical field, I found Medical Sales College and after doing my research I knew it was the correct path for me. I graduated from MSC in July and signed with a great company less than 2 months later. I would recommend Medical Sales College to anyone!
Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?
I got a rare heart condition and had talk about pace makers, and it just sparked my interest. I got pretty close with my Doctors and one suggested to check it out. I did but wanted to go into the field with a little more knowledge which is where I discovered MSC.
How did you learn about Medical Sales College?
I was searching medical device sales just in general on google and medical sales college just popped up on my google search. I made a linkedin randomly a couple of weeks later and Medical Sales College kept coming up on it and I added a couple of people and got into contact with Taylor Blohm and she was so easy to work with and she got me set up with the zoom call and I submitted my application the next day.
What ultimately made you decide to attend?
I had researched it enough that after the zoom call I knew that it was the right decision for me!
Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.
Absolutely amazing. My training was during COVID so it was different than expected but it also taught me to be flexible and during the interview process you really have to do just that.
Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?
How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?
I didn't try prior to attending MSC
Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.
What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?
I really don't have anything, the first zoom meeting with Jim was great and really all expectations that I had and how I thought everything would be was how it was!
What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?
Having really just gone through MSC and being able to grasp and pick up on things so much easier. I was able to have and hold a conversation about pretty much anything that they would ask me. My knowledge from having used MDrepTrack was my biggest compliment and was told many times that my business plan was the best business plan that they had ever seen, and my business plan solely came out of my MDRT & my instructor Thiana, honestly having the knowledge and help of the professors after graduating was the most helpful!
