Tell me a little about your background.

I graduated from LSU in December 2019. LSU Men?s soccer player, attended MSC's Houston campus, and my hobbies are hunting and fishing.

Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?

I was interested in the competitive, high paced atmosphere while advocating for patients and making things go smooth in the operating room.

How did you learn about Medical Sales College?

I was referred by a former graduate, Laine Fogarty.

What ultimately made you decide to attend?

I knew it would put me in a good position to be successful down the road.

Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.

Training at MSC was top notch and taught by experts in the field who have already proven their success. Not only does MSC prepare you in the technical aspect but they prepare you to build relationships, hospital/OR etiquette, and how to be the best salesperson you can be.

Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?

Someone should attend MSC if they want to reach their full potential as a medical device sales rep and if they want to be confident and fluent in terms of what is happening on a day-to-day basis.

How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?

I didn't try prior to attending MSC.

Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.

I received a call from a man who had been given my resume without me even applying. I met with the gentleman briefly and he was confident enough in me to have me shadow a rep in the OR the very next morning for a Rotator Cuff Reconstruction surgery. I handled myself well in the OR room and built relationships with people as I shadowed and then I was offered the position.

What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?

That relationships matter the most in this field. If you can build a personal bond with the people you work with, life will be easy. It?s not always more about selling someone than it is getting to know them and becoming friends on a level beyond the hospital.
