Tell me a little about your background.

For fourteen years of my life, ballet was my prime focus. While this is still a true passion of mine, early in high school I made the decision that being a professional ballerina was something that no longer interested me. Being heavily involved in dance provided me with a unique awareness of the human body and how it works. I wanted to maintain this understanding of the body and utilize the knowledge I had by pursuing a career in the medical field.
I am a recent graduate who obtained a degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology from the Holland School of Sciences and Mathematics at Hardin-Simmons University. Studying biology in college was a choice that I felt would keep my options open when it came to choosing a lifelong career. While I knew I wanted to be surrounded by medicine and science, I was not sure what that entailed career-wise. My path originally led me to physical therapy, but my course changed when I was repeatedly told I have the personality for sales.

Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?

Becoming a valuable resource to a company and problem-solving by providing a product-based solution that is ideal for the patient are all factors that intrigued me.

How did you learn about Medical Sales College?

I interviewed with a company called Infinity Medical Associates and they pointed me in the direction of MSC.

What ultimately made you decide to attend?

I decided to attend MSC because I figured I needed to learn more about the industry before trying to be part of it.

Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.

The instructors were fantastic and while the course was challenging, they cared about us truly learning the material. I would absolutely recommend someone coming to MSC before starting a career in the medical sales industry.

Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?

If you do not have any previous sales experience, attending MSC lets a company know that you are putting in the time and money to better yourself for a place in this industry and that is the type of dedication they are looking for.

How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?

Less than 6 months.

What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?

How to sell yourself.
