Tell me a little about your background.

I have a background in property management, fitness, and B2B sales.

Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?

I have always wanted to get into the medical industry, and I didn?t want to go through years and years of school to get there. I know I?m great at sales and building relationships, so I knew that this would be the perfect industry for me.

How did you learn about Medical Sales College?

Instagram!

What ultimately made you decide to attend?

I was working in a sales position where the income potential was capped, and the income wasn?t anywhere near what I knew I could make in medical device sales. I knew a certificate from Medical Sales College is what I would need to catapult me into the industry, and it did just that!

Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.

The training I received at Medical Sales College was exactly what I needed to feel comfortable and informed when interviewing with different companies. We dove deep into each specialty, and learned so much about orthopedics within the 12 weeks.

Describe your Career Development training experience.

My Career Development training was great and very informative!

How did placement services help accelerate your entry into the medical device sales industry?

My Career Development Coordinator called each week to check in, and gave great advice as I was interviewing with various companies. They were able to help me prep for the Gallup interview.

Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?

Someone should attend Medical Sales College to get their foot in the door! This is it. If you?ve always wanted to get into the industry like I have, attending MSC is the way to go! It?s one of the best decisions I?ve ever made for myself and my career.

Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.

I initially reached out to one of the reps on LinkedIn in the territory, and he responded! He was kind enough to hop on a phone call with me, and answered a bunch of my questions. At the end of the call, I asked who I could get in contact with about the open position in Pittsburgh, and he gave me the hiring manager's email. I immediately reached out to the hiring manager. We got on the phone and had a very informal, laid back, casual conversation. I then spoke with one of the other reps I would be working under. My final interview was a zoom call with both the hiring manager and the VP of Sales. They offered me the job the very next day, and I accepted!
