Tell me a little about your background.

I am a 2020 graduate of Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA, where I studied Neuroscience and played both baseball and wrestling at the Division 1 level. As a collegiate athlete, my time was constantly spent not only performing in the classroom but also on the field and mat. Managing my time and responsibilities while competing at the highest collegiate level has inextricably made me part of who I am today.

Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?

The medical sales industry is very appealing because of how the industry rewards hard work, dedication, and determination. Drawing on my experiences as a college athlete, the early mornings, late nights, constant want, and need to succeed are all part of who I am. These traits will directly transition into a rewarding career in medical sales. Through the recommendation of friends and new colleagues, I feel that this industry is wide open and will reward those who work the hardest and longest, which I feel will be rewarding long term.

How did you learn about Medical Sales College?

Referred by an employer in the industry.

What ultimately made you decide to attend?

The recommendation of a family friend led to my decision to attend MSC.

Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.

My experience at MSC was nothing short of extraordinary. The instructors genuinely wanted to see us succeed in the future and equipped us with all of the knowledge and tools to do so. My classmates made this experience nothing short of amazing. Knowing that my colleagues and classmates are reaching their goals and succeeding because of their character and training at MSC is very promising to see. Performing saw bone labs and learning the anatomy, procedures, products, and conducting article reviews on the topics helped me have a 360-degree view of how the industry is taught and maintained.

Describe your experience with Dynamic Consultative Sales training.

My DCS training was very important to me because I did not previously have any formal sales training. As a Neuroscience major in college, that was one of my biggest concerns about getting into sales. This training turned a concern into a strength, which is a direct testament to the work that both of my trainers have put into their time in the industry.

Describe your Career Development training experience.

My career development experience was pivotal in my development as a job candidate within this industry. Before attending MSC, my knowledge of the industry was minimal. Through the help of my senior director of career development and his team, I was able to not only be prepared but confident that I was going to be hired in the industry upon graduation.

Being a recent college graduate, how did MSC help you to prepare to enter the professional workforce?

MSC helped me prepare for the workforce by allowing me to learn more about the industry and know how to confidently reciprocate the info I learned to both hiring managers OR staff and surgeons.

What made you choose to invest in more education by attending MSC after just recently graduating college?

Continuing education is essential. Being a lifelong learner myself, I knew that investing in more education would pay off far more than the initial amount I would pay to enter the school.

Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?

If you are truly motivated to place yourself in medical sales, there is no other school, in my opinion, that can blend both sales and medical terminology as well as MSC has.

What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?

The most valuable thing I took away from MSC was never to stop networking. You never know who will be the next person to offer you a job or change your life for the better.
