Tell me a little about your background.
I am a former elementary school teacher as well as a scrub tech. I have over 10 years of experience as a scrub tech specializing in orthopedics and transplants.
Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?
I decided to pursue a career in medical sales because I wanted to use my educational background to help others in the medical field.
What ultimately made you decide to attend?
I knew from being in the industry that attending MSC was the next best thing to having actual medical device sales experience.
Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.
My training at MSC was spot on. Having prior OR experience, the things that they were teaching were very important. We learned about the anatomy, correct terminology, the steps of different procedures, and proper sterile technique. They gave us some great advice based on things that had actually happened to them in the OR.

Coming from the OR, I understood that it was who you knew and what you could do for that company that would get me in the door. I knew MSC was my best bet for achieving that.

What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?
The most important information I learned from MSC is how to have a proper interview. Your answers should always reflect how you can help the company.
