Tell me a little about your background.

I have a background in kinesiology and PT.

Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?

The opportunity to get in the OR, the exciting days on your feet, ability to help patients, and the money.

How did you learn about Medical Sales College?

Friend of a friend.

What ultimately made you decide to attend?

I was having no luck applying to positions in the industry because I had no sales experience. I also felt this program would help me move up in a company faster and become more prepared to be successful in the industry.

Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.

It was a great experience. The instructors were very knowledgeable about the material covered in class and the industry. I became very close with all of my classmates and I feel that could really come in handy down the road when we are all out in the field.

Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?

To get an upper hand on the competition trying to get into the medical sales industry.

How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?

About a year.

Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.

It was not a very formal one because it is a small company. I met the owner at a coffee shop and he asked me about MSC and what I had learned and he was very impressed and I got a job offer the next day.

What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?

I would have liked to have all of the information about how to network, and get your name in front of the right people that can get you a job.

What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?

Don't sell yourself short. We were taught that we are a valuable commodity compared to many other applicants, so we should believe that and go into interviews with confidence in all of the training we received at MSC.
