Tell me a little about your background.

I graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Business Management

Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?

I wanted to work in the OR, as I always thought it was very interesting. What drew me to this industry is the income potential and that it is not a career where you sit at a desk all day.

How did you learn about Medical Sales College?

I learned about the Medical Sales College through a recruiter.

What ultimately made you decide to attend?

I wanted to get a job in medical sales and I knew the college would help me do just that!

Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.

It was an incredible experience, I learned so much. All of the instructors were very knowledgeable. The amount of information that I learned in 6 weeks was just amazing.

What is the most valuable piece of information that you learned while attending MSC which ultimately helped you land your position?

30-60-90 days business plan!!

Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?

To get the knowledge (?credentials?) that you need in order to get your foot in the door in the medical sales world.

How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?

I tried getting into the industry for about a year. It was a very frustrating experience because I did not have the credentials in order to get my foot in the door.

Did you have any fears about attending the School? What were they?

The only fear that I had was picking up and leaving home for a month. Also, the cost obviously came out of my own pocket and at the time I did not have a job!

Explain what your interview process was like.

It was a long process. I interviewed with 4-5 different people, and they were all blown away by the investment I made to train at MSC.

What is your current job like?

I am providing clinical support using my companies technology in the OR.

What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?

I should have immediately went to MSC instead of going on interviews with absolutely no credentials!

What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?

OR protocols. Who to target in the hospital and how to build and develop these relationships.
