Student Testimonials

Tell me a little about your background.
I grew up working, from starting on a farm to working through college. I received my competitive drive from being a competitive dancer and a barrel racer in high school. Even though I was a shy individual, I wanted to grow and become the best version of myself. I love meeting new people and hearing different viewpoints about everything.
Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?
I wanted a career that would challenge me and push me to my limits. I wanted to go in everyday knowing I would never get the same result. I also wanted to have a comfortable income for myself to be able to enjoy activities and go to places I love.
How did you learn about Medical Sales College?
My high school band director knew a family friend who went through the program so he told me to check it out.
What ultimately made you decide to attend?
I knew I didn't have a foot in the door to get an interview with any company or have any past experience that would've helped me feel comfortable getting in front of surgeons to talk about products. So I decided to invest in myself by attending MSC to grow my knowledge and confidence to get into the industry.
Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.
My training experience was very intense but it was extremely helpful. I definitely feel more prepared to make connections with others and how to prepare my sales pitch for my customers.
Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?
How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?
I didn't try prior to attending MSC.
Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.
What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?
I wish I would have known to start as early as possible to start connecting with people within the industry through LinkedIn.
What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?
Be yourself. Within my training I came to the realization that I wouldn't be the right fit for some companies, but if I continued to be true to who I am and my willingness to work, the right company will come. It is important to enjoy your environment because if you don't then you will not perform your best every single day.
