Tell me a little about your background.

10 years retail sales, 1 year outside sales, BS in Animal Science.

Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?

The ability to make a lucrative income and maintain a busy schedule.

How did you learn about Medical Sales College?

Synthes sales rep.

What ultimately made you decide to attend?

Cadaver and saw bone labs, but to that point what made me love the school the most after I left was the faculty.

Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.

Fast-paced and intense.

What is the most valuable piece of information that you learned while attending MSC which ultimately helped you land your position?

A & P of the knee, (gap balancing was very impressive to all of them).

Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?

To make employers take that second look at you. (I found some hiring managers are so interested in the Medical Sales College that they take a look at you just to learn more about it, then you can get a freebee interview with some pretty big names).

How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?

6 months. No one even looked twice at me until I went to MS, except a warm IV company.

Did you have any fears about attending the School? What were they?

Was it legit? How formal is it?

Explain what your interview process was like.

I interviewed with 5-7 companies. Each took about a week in-between interviews to even respond. With each company I had 3 to 4 hour interviews.

What will you do in your new job?

I will be selling biologics and some new tests and procedures.

What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?

The value of networking.
