Tell me a little about your background.

I earned my C.N.A license right out of Arizona State University in 2009. I returned to school for a continued education in nursing and while in the program obtained a job as an Event Manager for a Corporate Wellness Company.

Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?

I became interested in medical sales when I first saw a video of the DaVinci robot doing surgery in 2000. I have always had a love for medicine, and I was able to see another innovative side of it.

How did you learn about Medical Sales College?

My aunt who has been in the industry for many years told me about the school. She had heard good things about the program

What ultimately made you decide to attend?

I wanted to get the appropriate training to help me break into the medical device sales field.

Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.

The training was very interesting. I appreciated being able to glean information from professionals that had been in the field. I enjoyed learning about the steps of some surgical procedures and the saw bones lab.

Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?

MSC equips students with tools to be successful in the field. It teaches students how to understand procedures, how the devices are used, how to profile surgeons, and a good foundation of biologics.

How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?

I tried to get into the industry for 8 months before attending MSC.

Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.

I had applied to a few companies and going through the interview process, when my company contacted me. I was not familiar with this device so after my initial call/interview, I was able to meet the area sales manager and attend an in-service. For my final interview, I had to present to my employer about our product using a clinical study pointing out features and weakness from the study

What is your current job like?

I am currently an Associate Territory Manager with my company. I schedule in- services with the physicians offices and obtain orders from them. Due to the Corona Virus, we have done more remote work with the patients and offices.

What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?

I learned how to study the various medical devices against their competitor products. Though I did not use this in the final interview, it helped to make me a better candidate.
