Student Testimonials

Tell me a little about your background.
After my 3rd year of college I got accepted into Pharmacy school but wasn?t quite sure if it was right for me so I decided to change routes and finish with a Biology degree. I wanted to have a career that allowed me to interact with people more while still allowing me to be in the medical field.
Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?
I?m really passionate about anatomy/physiology and also with interacting with different types of people so I felt that having a job in this industry would be the best of both worlds. I love the fact that you?re never doing the exact same thing every day and you?re constantly being challenged to do better.
How did you learn about Medical Sales College?
I had a friend mention the program to me and after doing research of my own on the program I was sold.
What ultimately made you decide to attend?
After seeing all of the positive feedback that the college received and knowing the possibilities that could potentially open up for me in the future, I decided to go.
Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.
It was great! Our instructor was awesome and found a way to make class fun while still making sure we were understanding the information thoroughly. Although class was all day, the time flew by because the information was so interesting to me. Having instructors teaching at the program that have been in the industry themselves is really cool because you get their perspective of the rep role opposed to someone just teaching you the information. Everyone at the program is super helpful and wants you to succeed.
What is the most valuable piece of information that you learned while attending MSC which ultimately helped you land your position?
Knowing how to research the products and being able to talk the language of medical device sales. Each company was impressed by how well I was able to carry myself throughout the interview process without having any sales experience prior.
Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?
How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?
Once I graduated college I went straight to the Medical Sales College because I knew that I had no experience in the industry and wanted to get started right away.
Did you have any fears about attending the School? What were they?
I was nervous that I?d be making a big investment and not necessarily knowing how it would pan out.
Explain what your interview process was like.
Within a day of being back home I received a call back from a company which I was really excited about and throughout my whole interview process I was able to speak with three different companies. Lots of phone calls, Facetime interviews, and in-person interviews took place but the whole time I felt that I was well-prepared. After each interview ended I felt really confident because I knew that I had used all of the tools that I was given during the program and that it was working out just like they said it would.
What is your current job like?
I have not yet started my position yet but will begin training in the next couple of weeks.
What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?
I wish I would have known about this program sooner!
What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?
Confidence is key! Make sure you know your product inside and out and be able to show people that you have mastered the product.
