Tell me a little about your background.

I started my professional career in restaurants and public dining as well as catering services.

Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?

I wanted a career where I could provide a meaningful service while being able to provide for myself long term. I believe that constantly learning means you are constantly growing and in this industry, that is a requirement.

How did you learn about Medical Sales College?

I had friends that previously graduated from Medical Sales College who have successful careers in the medical sales industry.

Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.

The training experience provides a wonderful baseline for what to expect in the industry. It was a very beneficial step in moving towards a career in medical sales.

Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?

Medical Sales College does exactly what they set out to do in landing their students careers. Without Medical Sales College, I couldn't even get in the door for an interview. My education experience with MSC gave me all the tools to go out into the field and land a job as well as the confidence to know that I will be successful in the long term.

How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?

Less than 6 months.

Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.

My interview process with Inception Medical was very simple and started with a quick meeting for coffee with my now direct boss. The next step was a quick mock sales call to my boss, followed up by meeting with his business partner to get the "ok" signed off on. Once I met with both partners of the company, I met with a doctor that works closely with Inception Medical Services and was given the opportunity to discuss what makes a good sales rep.

What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?

The work never stops. Graduating from Medical Sales College is just the start. You have to continue to grind and work to land the job that you desire, but all the hard work does pays off.

What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?

The most valuable piece of information that I learned during my experience at Medical Sales College would probably be the research background that they provided. We were taught the correct ways to back up any product's features, benefits, and values with current and applicable science that will directly translate into sales in the industry.
