Tell me a little about your background.

I have a background in customer service and I went to the University of Georgia where I majored in Biology.

Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?

I decided to pursue medical sales because I wanted a challenging career that did not involve sitting at a desk every day for the rest of my life.

How did you learn about Medical Sales College?

Google.

What ultimately made you decide to attend?

I tried applying to jobs in the industry and I did not get any calls back to my applications and decided MSC would be the quickest route to obtaining a career in medical sales.

Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.

The training experience at MSC was fantastic. Being able to learn from all the instructors who used to be reps was an amazing experience.

Describe your experience with Dynamic Consultative Sales training.

The Dynamic Consultative Sales portion of the course required me to really open up and buy into the class. I never had a sales job before so this part of the course was the most important to me.

Describe your Career Development training experience.

My Senior Director of Career Development was awesome. Without him, there is no way I would be where I am today.

Being a recent college graduate, how did MSC help you to prepare to enter the professional workforce?

MSC gave me the knowledge I needed to directly transition into the field. MSC also showed me what it's like to go to work before the sun comes up and stop work after the sun goes down.

What made you choose to invest in more education by attending MSC after just recently graduating college?

I decided to attend MSC after not getting responses to my job applications and realizing that I needed more to break into the field.

How did placement services help accelerate your entry into the medical device sales industry?

Placement services got me recognized by my current employer. They got me to the phone call which gave me the chance to compete for the job.

Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?

MSC will give you the foundational knowledge required to know what is going on in an interview or the OR. MSC will also give you access to countless individuals that want to help you succeed. The instructors and alumni are all there to help and I would not be where I am today without them. Give the program your all and results will come. MSC gives you the resources, you just have to put in the work!

How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?

I tried getting into the industry for 3 months. It was not a good experience. I sent countless job applications and got no responses.

Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.

I had a lead rep reach out to me about a position because he found my profile on MSC's ZeroFee Recruiting website. From there, I started the process with a few phone calls that lead to an in-person interview and ultimately the job.

What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?

My instructors at MSC taught me that it is okay not to know something. Asking questions and constantly trying to achieve a higher level of knowledge is something I picked up at MSC and will continue to do throughout my career.
