Tell me a little about your background.
Played hockey at Western Michigan, graduated with a Health Administration degree and wanted to be in the health care arena.
Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?
Passion of competition, the healthcare industry always was a passion of mine, the fast-paced environment and wanted to make a lot of money.
How did you learn about Medical Sales College?
Research on Medical Device area from Google, as well as having a friend graduate from the program.
What ultimately made you decide to attend?
To give myself a competitive advantage over others trying to break into the Medical Device arena. Also wanted to learn more about the industry and heard a lot of positive feedback.
Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.
Amazing experience with top notch instructors, that offered great support and insight. Meeting and working with all the other students was great building those connections and learning from each other to become better.

How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?

Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.
What is your current job like?
It is an associate role for first 6 to 8 months running trays / covering cases. If team feels I am ready at the end of the period I will move to a rep and help grow business. If not I will stay in associate role till they think I am ready.
What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?
The amount of miles you would be putting on your car.
What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?
Preparation and the time that it takes to learn the products and procedures. Always ASK FOR THE SALE!
