Tell me a little about your background.

Throughout my professional career, I had mostly worked in the hospitality industry and also had an amazing experience as a Sales Manager for a Digital Marketing company. I was also fortunate to start my own business and develop it from the ground up.

Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?

After being challenged this year with this worldwide pandemic, I started to research different career options that would include working with people in need and helping others. I have a friend who works in the medical sales industry and told me more about it as well. I found myself extremely passionate about the medical field and understood that with my previous experience, it would be a great fit.

How did you learn about Medical Sales College?

During extensive research on how to break into the medical sales industry, I came across Medical Sales College online. I talked to previous students and decided it would be worth the investment. I've always been interested in learning something new.

What ultimately made you decide to attend?

I decided to attend MSC because I did not have any previous knowledge of anatomy, products, etc, and I knew it was important to learn more about this field prior to starting my career.

Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.

Medical Sales College taught me a lot, especially about human anatomy, the many different technologies, and what it takes to become a successful sales representative.

Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?

If you do not have a background in biology or the medical field, MSC will certainly teach you a lot. By the time you complete the program, you will have a broad understanding of human anatomy and its complexity.

How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?

Less than 6 months.

Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.

My interview process with Zynex Medical was amazing. I applied online and received an email back from the recruiters less than a week later. After two phone interviews with the recruiting team, I was then put in contact with my Regional Manager. I then had a Zoom interview with the Regional Manager. I received a verbal offer the same day and received the written offer a few days later. Being assertive and expressing how much you want to work for that company is definitely a deal-breaker.

What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?

The most valuable thing I learned at MSC was the importance of continuous education. Like many fields, medical device companies are constantly coming up with new solutions to better help their patients. Understanding that there is always room to learn is going to be essential to succeed in this industry.
