Tell me a little about your background.
I am originally from Arkansas where I come from a family of entrepreneurs. I was fortunate enough to grow up in a sales minded home where I saw what it looked like to be successful in a sales role watched my parents cultivate relationships through business. While completing my bachelor?s degree in Biology at the University of Arkansas, I realized my passion for the medical field early on. I spent time as a volunteer in an oncology clinic where I realized how much difference I could make by the choice of my career.
Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?
Because of how I was raised with the desire to achieve results, being self motivated and being coachable are important beliefs instilled in me. I am driven and a relationship based person. Because of my family history in sales and my passion for healthcare, I knew this was the perfect job to mesh the two together.
How did you learn about Medical Sales College?
My friend Kristen went through the program and recommended it to me.
What ultimately made you decide to attend?
The medical sales industry is such a difficult one to get into, but I knew that MSC would provide me with the knowledge, experience, and connections to finally get my foot in the door.
Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?
How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?

Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.
What is your current job like?
I am still training. I have mostly been shadowing reps in the field and will be traveling to south TX to gain the medical knowledge to better understand the products I am selling.
What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?
Networking and first impressions are everything.
