Student Testimonials

Tell me a little about your background.
When I was in college, I got my degree in marketing knowing I wanted to get into consultative selling. Eventually, I realized I wanted to do that through the medical device industry. I tried getting a job in medical devices out of college with no success and then took a job working for a Pharmacy Benefits Manager. After a year I decided to revisit how I would get into the industry which led me to Medical Sales College.
Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?
I wanted to do something that was fast paced, didn?t leave me sitting behind a desk all day and had potential for financial growth.
How did you learn about Medical Sales College?
Through previous students.
What ultimately made you decide to attend?
Seeing the success of the previous students.
Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.
The training was great. The instructors were all very knowledgeable and I left being able to speak about the industry in a way that I never could have through all my self-educating efforts.
Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?
How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?
I tried for a few months and almost never got any response.
Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.
What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?
I don?t think I knew just how knowledgeable the instructors were going to be. For example, If I had been told ?the instructor at your location was a rep for a major company for over 20 years? that may have made it easier for me to make my decision ever quicker than I did.
What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?
I wouldn?t say it was a single piece. I think the most valuable benefit was being able to have an educated conversation with the hiring managers about the industry and the problems they?re having.
