Student Testimonials

Tell me a little about your background.
I have a bachelor?s degree from Oregon State University. After that I was doing inside sales for a little over four years with a couple of start-ups.
Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?
The work itself seemed fun. Being in a OR and helping surgeons treat their patients was very intriguing. I've also always enjoyed and been good at sales, so it brought the two together. Having good friends in the industry who thoroughly enjoy it made it seem like a career choice I would be happy with as well.
How did you learn about Medical Sales College?
I knew someone who had attended MSC.
What ultimately made you decide to attend?
After applying and getting nowhere on my own, I decided I needed a ?short cut? to get into the industry. I didn't want to get a job doing outside sales somewhere else for a year plus, just to get the experience on my resume. Only to then switch careers again to med sales.
Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.
It's like a full-time job and school all in one. In the classroom from about 8-5. Studying nightly or preparing for presentations. It's a lot, but I was a lot more motivated to do this kind of coursework with a direct goal in sight.
