Tell me a little about your background.

Pre-Med Undergraduate where I had the opportunity to shadow orthopedic surgeons and learn about the industry. I was really involved in my undergraduate career and worked full time.

Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?

From shadowing orthopedic surgeons - I was inspired at the amount of knowledge that representatives had in the OR.

How did you learn about Medical Sales College?

Researching internships with medical device companies.

What ultimately made you decide to attend?

Reaching out to recent grads and learning their experiences along with the placement rates.

Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.

Overall a great training experience at MSC. A lot of material was learned.

Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?

They give you a great base knowledge on the industry and how to be successful. It?s up to you to absorb and execute that information in your job-hunting process.

Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.

I had a 20 min phone interview with the district manager and then was asked to fly up to Columbia for an in-person interview. I had an hour interview with the district manager and then a 2-hour dinner with the rep and district manager. I was offered the position the next day.

What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?

Building a business plan/surgeon profiling, etc. and being able to execute that knowledge into an interview.
