Tell me a little about your background.
I played division I basketball at Virginia Tech and got a degree in Human Nutrition, Food & Exercise. I had no sales experience prior to MSC. Medical sales is a really competitive work environment and having this on my resume allowed me to get a lot of interest with employers.
Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?
I wanted to get into an industry that wasn?t a 9-5 job stuck at a desk all day. I loved how this incorporated both the medical aspect along with communication and building relationships.
How did you learn about Medical Sales College?
I learned about MSC through researching the industry on the internet.
What ultimately made you decide to attend?
I was very motivated to start my career. I knew this industry is tough to get into, so having this on my resume would boost my chances of getting a Job.
Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.
We learned a lot from how to build relationships in the OR, how to sell, the proper do's and don'ts in the OR setting. We learned a lot about the human anatomy all the way down to hip, knee, shoulder and trauma surgeries.
