Tell me a little about your background.

I came from a very science heavy background with a degree in Microbiology and experience in both research and emergency medicine. I learned an incredible amount of sales knowledge while at the college.

Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?

I was interested in the duality of working in an OR while also using my skills to build and develop sales relationships.

How did you learn about Medical Sales College?

Found it online while researching medical sales jobs. Attended Jim Rogers webinar and was convinced.

What ultimately made you decide to attend?

Jim Rogers seemed like he had a great deal of knowledge on medical sales and the process of being successful in the field. I wanted to gain that experience so I could get and job and be successful in my role.

Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.

We were given an incredible amount of practice in studying common anatomy and pathology involved in procedures done in both Sports Med and Extremities. We also used this knowledge to practice sales research and presentation techniques on a weekly basis. Finally, we were trained in job hunting and interviewing skills that proved crucial to landing a position after graduation.

Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?

If they are serious about putting in the work to be successful at the college, they will gain essential skills to not only land a job in the industry, but also be incredibly successful.

How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?

Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.

I felt very prepared for all interviews I attended and felt the interviewers were always impressed with my demonstrations of product knowledge and the surgeon profile process we were taught in the class.

What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?

You get out what you put in. The amount of work you are willing to do directly correlates with your success.
