Tell me a little about your background.

I was a 4-year military veteran who served in Army Special Operations. I am a graduate of the University of Louisville with a degree in Organizational Leadership & Learning.

Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?

A relative of mine had heard about this school & introduced it to me. Since I did not have a medical or sales background, they believed that this would be the perfect tool to utilize in breaking into the industry. The sense of independency & pressure is what I look toward. I?m a competitive person who enjoys moving at a fast pace.

How did you learn about Medical Sales College?

Through a relative who works in the industry.

What ultimately made you decide to attend?

I knew that I possibly wouldn?t be able to break into the industry without it.

Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.

It was tough at first. But once I got the hang of things, I became more confident.

What is the most valuable piece of information that you learned while attending MSC which ultimately helped you land your position?

All the knowledge about anatomy, selling, and O.R. etiquette. Everything that was taught to me during the interview process is what I used.

Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?

It is a stepping stone to break into the industry.

How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?

I attended MSC from January 2018-March 2018, I secured a job within a month. The process was tough, but the tools MSC provided me made it worthwhile!

Did you have any fears about attending the School? What were they?

Yes. Crossing into a field that I didn?t know much about. I didn?t really know what to expect at MSC.

Explain what your interview process was like.

Multiple interviews with minimal time to prepare. I had about 5 different interviews ranging from face to face, to online, to in the field / O.R. shadowing.

What is your current job like?

I have a great position in a great territory. I work under two territory managers & I?m in the O.R. every single day.

What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?

Nothing! MSC did it for me.

What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?

Confidence, public speaking, and how to research/breakdown products.
