Student Testimonials

Tell me a little about your background.
I?m a chiropractic physician and athletic trainer.
Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?
Variety of each day. I also love to problem solve and create solutions. In my previous practice that is what kept me going every day. I would wake up dead tired and then as soon as my clients walked in it was like I had a shot of adrenaline. I am also passionate about moving vertical in my future career, in chiropractic I was at the ceiling, not growth. I can have personal and leadership growth in medical sales.
How did you learn about Medical Sales College?
From an ad.
What ultimately made you decide to attend?
I wanted to be trained by the best and felt like the instructors with all the years of experience and Kim, Jim?s experience they could help me.
Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.
Great. Instructors, Kim, Jim, Interns are all fabulous.
What is the most valuable piece of information that you learned while attending MSC which ultimately helped you land your position?
Positioned myself as an expert ready to sell their product. Knowledge of products in the industry I would use as examples.
Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?
If you want to get a job in Med Devices, and you do not want to walk into an interview not knowing really what to say or do you need to go. You are prepped and firing on all cylinders when you leave.
How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?
Since May 2016. Frustrating! I have a lot of business building and client relationship experience. Still couldn?t get in. I actually got a call from a recruiter who found me on the ZeroFee website.
Did you have any fears about attending the School? What were they?
Yes. Will it really help me to be exposed to this classroom setting to help get me a job.
Will I get ROI on the investment?
Explain what your interview process was like.
For the job I currently have, I had a phone interview, a video conference interview with the recruiter. Then I went to Chicago for interview with managers of the project. Three days later I was offered a job.
What is your current job like?
Not sure just yet, right now just doing the onboarding procedures. Home study for two weeks, then training in Philly for a week, then training in Virginia Beach for a week and fly out to start in the field in Portland, OR
What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?
I knew it was hard to get into the industry, but man is it hard. You need to have that one little extra something that is going to get you through the first two interviews what sets you apart by a lot to get you there and it is MSC for sure.
What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?
I have given presentation in my professional career, but the pressure simulation to absorb info quickly then being able to put it into the selling system and give a presentation on product in 1 day was good. It helped to increase my level of confidence.
