Tell me a little about your background.

I went to school at CU Boulder and received a BA in Integrative Physiology with a minor in Business. Received my Basic EMT, IV and Basic EKG certs after graduation. I then worked in the Emergency Departments for Health One Facilities in Colorado as a Medical Scribe/Trainer.

Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?

I was already in the medical field pursuing a career as a PA and didn?t want to go to school for another 3 years and be in debt. I was offered a position for a paid internship at Medical Sales College.

How did you learn about Medical Sales College?

Through a friend from college.

What ultimately made you decide to attend?

Interning for the college.

What is the most valuable piece of information that you learned while attending MSC which ultimately helped you land your position?

I learned how to work hard and sell myself.

Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?

Because it gets people hired and the people who work there (MSC and EliteMed Recruiting) go out of their way to help you.

How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?

One month and it was very stressful.

Did you have any fears about attending the School? What were they?

I thought it MSC was too good to be true, then I interned for the school and realized that it was a legit business.

Explain what your interview process was like.

Very, very quick hiring process. I had a phone call the first week to give an overview of the position. Met with the regional manager two days later for coffee and he enjoyed me so much that I met with the associate rep 3 days later. The same day I was offered the position.
