Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.
It was great! I can?t imagine getting into this field without the foundational knowledge in spine, biologics, and sales I learned from MSC. It gave me the confidence to go after my dream job and quickly obtain it.
Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?
How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?
I didn't try prior to attending MSC.
Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.
What is your current job like?
I am currently training:
Day 1- Shadowing in two single-level ALIF surgeries followed by an MIS TLIF
Day 2- Clinic with a neurosurgeon to best understand his thinking pre-op!
Day 3- Shadowing an Occipital to Thoracic case trans-oral approach.
I have already been exposed to so much through shadowing and I am so excited for my career!
What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?
Nothing at all is predictable. No interview is predictable. No case is predictable. No surgeon is predictable. Everything is so variable and you have to be prepared but also have to just go with it!
What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?
All of the spine information. I was able to out interview my ?competition? because of the knowledge MSC provided me through my spine instructor!
