Tell me a little about your background.

Graduated college in 2009 with a degree in psychology. Decided to travel for a few years after school and work odd jobs. Enlisted in the US Army in 2013. Left the military in 2019. In those years I had some wonderful experiences and challenges.

Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?

I became interested in Medical Sales after my time in SOCM. I realized I wanted to still be a part of the Medical world, but due to life constraints couldn?t find the time to devote to medical school. Medical sales is a loop hole. I get to be a part of the medical community without having to devote 8 years to school.

How did you learn about Medical Sales College?

I did a Google search.

What ultimately made you decide to attend?

ZeroFee recruiting made the decision easy for me to attend MSC.

Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.

The training at MSC was strong due to the extensive experience of the instructors.

Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?

The Medical Sales College is a strong program that will give you the tools needed to get into the industry. The Zerofee platform is a huge tool that will get your name out there to hiring managers. It is an investment but from my experience it was worth it.

How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?

2 months

Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.

I had the HR screen, followed by online interview. A couple days later I had a meeting with the district manager. After this meeting I had to talk to 3 members of his sales team. Following those discussions, I had to take an online academic assessment. Finally, I had to speak with the district managers boss.

What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?

Before entering MSC I wish I would have spent more time on MDreptracker and not just blindly filled in product information. I should have taken more time and learned more product information other than my own.

What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?

How to interview was the key to me landing this position.
