Tell me a little about your background.

Have been an RN for six years, currently in the military.

Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?

Wanted to try something new in the medical field and challenge myself.

How did you learn about Medical Sales College?

Morgan Scudder, an MSC grad, and I worked together at an IV Hydration Clinic.

What ultimately made you decide to attend?

The zerofee/job placement help.

Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.

Intense but valuable. Lots of work with a job but 8 weeks isn?t long at all in the big picture.

Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?

It gives you something tangible that conveys your dedication and commitment to excelling in the field of device sales. Putting MSC on your resume shows you put in time, work, and money and want it to pay off in your job, so you?ll take that job very seriously. It also prepares you for interviewing by training you what to emphasize and touch on, and how to sell yourself. In addition, MSC provides you with excellent connections and networking potential.

Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.

I was connected to McGinley Orthopaedics through Jessica Norton, one of the instructors. The COO called me for an initial interview, and one week later the CEO interviewed me and offered me the position.

What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?

It is a lot about who you know and how you present yourself professionally online.

What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?

How to market yourself to employers and what to emphasize in interviews, especially with no sales experience.
