Tell me a little about your background.
BS in Exercise Science, Minors in Bio and Psych, experience in pharmacy and PT, worked in sales for 2 years. Ex-pro water skier, involved in honor societies and student government during undergrad.
Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?
A desire to combine healthcare, hospital settings, and sales into one drew me to the industry. A desire to get a strong head start and know what I was doing brought me to MSC.

What ultimately made you decide to attend?
Putting in the due-diligence and reaching out to previous graduates as well as requesting information and talking to some of the faculty a couple times.
Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.
It was intense and thorough, but very enjoyable. It was easy to develop comradery and friendship with classmates and teachers. All instructors were excellent resources and readily available to help.
What is the most valuable piece of information that you learned while attending MSC which ultimately helped you land your position?
30-60-90 day plans. Using answers that are not typical, mirroring your interviewer.
Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?
How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?
Before MSC 3 months, it was very difficult without any experience. After MSC, 6 months. Although it was tough and stressful, Lane Bennett was an awesome resource and helped make the most of it to land the perfect job.
Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.
Did you have any fears about attending the School? What were they?
Yes, the concerns of ?will it pay off? and ?is it legitimate? are always eminent. And Jim addressed, there are haters on the internet.
What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?
Nothing comes to mind, life is about learning which MSC has helped me do throughout the entire process
What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?
I have not started my job yet, but everything I learned at MSC is valuable. The entire job has a lot of moving components, it is important to understand every aspect of what you are doing if you are going to be successful. Understanding how to sell and understanding how to be an excellent resource are what it boils down to I believe though.
