Tell me a little about your background.

Former athletic trainer who was looking for a change of scenery and looking to get back into the operating room.

Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?

As a former athlete who was already working in medicine, pairing competition and medicine was a no brainer that the field was cut out for me.

How did you learn about Medical Sales College?

I learned about Medical Sales College through a Google search when researching how to break into the field.

What ultimately made you decide to attend?

I was ready for a change, and decided that it was now or never. I had also been rejected by several companies due to lack of sales experience.

Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.

My overall experience was a positive one. The education portion solidified what I already knew in terms of anatomy and biomechanics. The sales portion of the experience is definitely what made it for me. Having the opportunity to present in from of a group and get feedback helped me gain confidence when pitching products and ideas.

Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?

If you do not have a strong background in medicine, you will definitely get your ?need to know? info from MSC. Pairing that with sales techniques, caring instructors and other perks are a great way to help you break into the field.

How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?

Roughly a year.

Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.

My interview process was an interesting one. I had several companies reach out to me after graduation to talk about opportunities. I originally had my mind set on signing with a particular company at the start of the week, only to find out that the contract had been voided with no warnings or explanation. Thankfully, I had kept in contact with another opportunity who got me through their entire interview process in 4 days before I signed on with them.

What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?

As of now, there is not much that I wish had known. I was in the mindset coming into MSC that I needed to be a sponge and remain unbiased about material as I could be.

What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?

Sales skills and practice. Understanding that these companies are investing in you for the long run was huge for me. Showing them that you are willing to put your neck out and continue to learn is what I believe ultimately landed me my position.
