Tell me a little about your background.
I am a father of two, a medically retired Army Veteran, and went to school for engineering.
Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?
This was an opportunity for me to use my intelligence in a sales role rather than in a lab. I felt as if I had a much higher chance for happiness in sales.
How did you learn about Medical Sales College?
Independent research.
What ultimately made you decide to attend?
It?s simple. To get to places that no one else is, one must be willing to do things that no one else will.
Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.
The things that I learned at MSC paid off tenfold. Although that I still have a tremendous amount of knowledge to obtain, I believe that MSC put me at least a year ahead of anyone else that is just breaking into the industry.
Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?
How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?
The MSC route was my way in, I graduated MSC and was hired 3 months post grad.
Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.
What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?
For me personally, taking more biology would have been helpful. My engineering and military background did help me though with the discipline that it takes to study this much information in such a short amount of time.
What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?
Understanding that Medical Sales is a process, even with interviewing. No one is going to take you serious at first glance, however a never quit attitude, persistence, and knowledgeable preparation are key success in this industry.
