Student Testimonials

Tell me a little about your background.
I have a Bachelors in Kinesiology from the University of Utah, and I originally planned to go to physical therapy school. After working at a physical therapy clinic for 2 years, I felt that working in the medical device industry was the route I wanted to take.
Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?
It is a competitive and rewarding industry where I can help improve healthcare.
How did you learn about Medical Sales College?
I found it on Google when I was searching ?how to become a medical device sales rep.?
What ultimately made you decide to attend?
With my limited sales experience, I felt that it was the best way to give myself an edge and ultimately break into the industry.
Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.
Invaluable. We are taught a multitude of skills from product/surgeon profiling to the ins and outs of the entire industry. I wouldn?t have any interviews if I did not go to MSC.
Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?
How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?
I tried for a couple of months.
Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.
What do you know now that you wish you had known before entering the industry/attending Medical Sales College?
From companies to distributorships, I now have a strong understanding of how the entire industry works. In addition, I know how to conduct myself in interviews, specifically with questions to ask and how to effectively answer questions asked to me from the interviewer.
What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?
Follow up! I was always confident in my knowledge of the clinical side of things, but when it came to interviewing and how to properly conduct yourself in every step of the process when talking to companies, I had zero knowledge. What helped me stand out and ultimately get an offer was how I followed up and conducted myself with everyone I interviewed with.
