Tell me a little about your background.

I grew up in Tampa, FL and attended The University of Mississippi for my undergrad. I originally pursued a career in music sales, but decided to pivot to pursue medical sales.

Why were you interested in pursuing medical sales as a career?

It is the most diverse, detail oriented, and impactful industry I can think of. You have the opportunity to impact patient lives.

How did you learn about Medical Sales College?

I was referred by a graduate.

What ultimately made you decide to attend?

I needed to learn more about the anatomy of the body and find a way to set my resume apart from other recruits.

Please describe your training experience at Medical Sales College.

My training at Medical Sales College was diverse, intricate, and exciting. I feel beyond prepared to enter the field and work within the operating room.

Describe your experience with Dynamic Consultative Sales training.

The Dynamic Consultative Sales training was my favorite part of the program and what I think is the most important. Anyone can learn anatomy and pathologies, but understanding how to sell and build relationships with people is a true skill. We received awesome training from experienced professionals that gave me the tools to crush my interviews.

Describe your Career Development training experience.

It was great!

Being a recent college graduate, how did MSC help you to prepare to enter the professional workforce?

The clinical knowledge I received combined with the dynamic sales training boosted my confidence in an interview setting.

What made you choose to invest in more education by attending MSC after just recently graduating college?

I knew I needed more knowledge and a way to set myself apart from other applicants.

How did placement services help accelerate your entry into the medical device sales industry?

They helped get me in touch with companies.

Why should someone attend Medical Sales College?

Attending Medical Sales College is the best way I can think of to break into the industry if you are lacking experience in the field.

How long did you try to get into the industry before attending MSC? What was that experience like?

I tried breaking in for two months. It was terrible! I sent over 50 applications and didn?t get a single response from any recruiter.

Please briefly explain your job interview process with your hiring company.

I had one or two phone screens, then an in-person interview at the home office. I interviewed with three different employees and received a call a few weeks later with an offer.

What was the most valuable thing you learned at Medical Sales College/What piece of training do you use the most in your day-to-day activities?

The most valuable information I received was regarding sales training and how to approach surgeons in the hospital. It's an art of reading people?s emotions.
